Trust & Safety · 24/7 intake
Use this form to report any listing, user, or message that violates our Acceptable Use Policy. Rights holders can also use this form to submit DMCA / EU DSA takedown notices.
Reporting & takedown process
1. Intake (0–24 hours)
Every submission is logged with a case ID, timestamp, IP, reporter identity, and the specific URL or listing ID. Reports are routed to the on-call Trust & Safety analyst. Acknowledgement email goes out within 24 hours.
2. Triage & interim measures (24–48 hours)
Adult content, violent extremism, counterfeit goods, and credible safety threats are immediately demonetised and hidden pending review — payouts are frozen, the listing is removed from search, and any in-flight booking is cancelled with a full refund. Lower-severity reports remain visible during review.
3. Investigation (≤72 hours)
Analysts review the listing, message logs, image hashes (PhotoDNA & perceptual hashing for known abusive material), and the user's history. For DMCA claims we follow 17 U.S.C. § 512 — including issuing a counter-notice opportunity to the accused user.
4. Decision & notice
Both the reporter and the affected user receive a written decision with the policy clause cited. Decisions are appealable once, in writing, within 14 days.
5. Repeat-violator policy ("three-strike")
- Strike 1: Listing removed, written warning, mandatory re-acceptance of the AUP.
- Strike 2: 30-day suspension of listing & payout privileges, Stripe Connect account placed under enhanced review.
- Strike 3: Permanent account termination, Stripe Connect account closed, device & payment-instrument fingerprint added to our re-registration blocklist.
- Zero-tolerance categories (CSAM, violent extremism, counterfeit designer goods, doxxing) skip the strike system and trigger immediate permanent termination plus, where required, a NCMEC / law-enforcement referral.
6. Programmatic enforcement
- Every uploaded image is screened by an automated nudity / weapons / hate-symbol classifier before the listing goes live.
- Listing titles and descriptions are scanned against a regularly updated blocklist (counterfeit brand markers, off-platform payment terms, hate-speech tokens).
- Image hashes are matched against PhotoDNA (CSAM) and an internal hash list of previously removed counterfeit and infringing items.
- Stripe Radar rules flag transactions that match known fraud or sanctions signatures, blocking payouts pending manual review.
